Dr Nirvana Morgan assists families impacted by mental health and addiction

Nirvana embodies a deep commitment to assisting families impacted by mental health and addiction—those often marginalized by the conventional treatment system. Her remarkable clinical skills and research efforts have earned her several accolades.

Nirvana's pioneering work was published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at global forums. She's also a sought-after speaker, having been invited to present at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO).

In 2018, her contributions to her field were recognized when she was listed among the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans.

With a PhD in addiction psychiatry, Dr. Morgan's research endeavors were further advanced when she received the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt post-doctoral fellowship.

Beyond her individual achievements, Dr. Morgan is a co-founder of the International Network of Early Career Professionals Working in the Area of Addiction Medicine (NECPAM e.V), demonstrating her commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders in the field.
